The Shofu Dura-White #0222 (FL1) is a professional-grade finishing stone designed for Contra-Angle (CA) latch-type handpieces. Sold in a 12-pack, these stones are made from ultra-fine, micrograined aluminum oxide—frequently referred to as "Arkansas" stones—to deliver an incredibly smooth, satin-like finish.
The FL1 flame shape is the preferred geometry for detailed contouring. Its tapered tip and rounded sides allow you to refine anatomical grooves and smooth out restorative margins with surgical precision. Unlike coarser green stones, Dura-White stones are engineered for the final smoothing phase, ensuring that composites, glass ionomers, and even natural tooth enamel are perfectly prepared for a final high-gloss polish.
